Does the app work in places where there is no internet connection?

YES - All data entered data is stored on your smartphone until an event is saved. stored temporarily. As soon as an event has been completed and saved, the entire the entire data package is transmitted to the manager's admin application via the Internet. If there is no internet connection at a location, the data is temporarily stored on the smartphone and automatically sent to the manager, as soon as you have an internet connection again.

What happens when my smartphone runs out of battery?

According to current legislation, the holder of a fishing license (= fishing permit) must keep a catch list when fishing. Each fishing trip must be entered in this list immediately at the start of fishing, together with the date. Every angler must report every fishing trip and the results of the catch.

In order for these to be checked by the fishing inspectorate, you must have temporary access to provisional paper statistics if your smartphone fails. If the battery of your smartphone fails and you do not have any paper statistics to fall back on, you may not continue fishing. The records on the provisional paper statistics must then be entered in the app.

Each angler is responsible for ensuring that he/she can present the statistics at all times. This also applies to keeping statistics with the app.

Do I still have to keep the paper statistics if I use the app?

NO - The fishing app completely replaces the paper statistics. If you keep the catch statistics via the fishing app, it is not necessary to keep the paper statistics in parallel.

Exception: paper statistics must be kept temporarily if the smartphone has no battery. The entries must then be added.

Can I also switch from the paper statistics to the app during the season?

NO - It is generally not possible to switch from the paper statistics to the app or vice versa during the current season. Please contact the respective club for more information.

What data from the app is sent to the manager?

The following data of a recorded event are sent to the operator:

  • Start and end time of the event
  • Number of the fishing ground or fishing ground section
  • Fish species, size and time of catch of a caught fish
  • (removal or resetting), if desired by the farmer
Can I change/delete recorded events in the app afterwards?

NO - Once an event has been saved, it cannot be changed or deleted. As soon as an event has been saved, it is sent to the manager and appears in your archive in the app.

Exceptions are personal information such as notes and bait.

However, if changes are required, please contact the manager.

I forgot to start the app when I started fishing. Can a fishing event be recorded afterwards?

YES - It is possible to record a fishing event retrospectively. However, the app must always be used correctly, i.e. it must be started at the beginning of the fishing trip and stopped after completion. As a rule, caught fish must be recorded during the fishing trip - directly after the catch.

An addendum follows the same procedure as a regular recording of a fishing event.
Press „Let's go. Select the relevant past date. You will see a message that you want to enter a past event. Please confirm this. The subsequent entry is now documented as such.

All information must then be entered. If all the information is correct, the event must be completed.
